DAY 12 WEDNESDAY: MAY 2021

GOD CHOSE YOU FOR HIS DIVINE PURPOSE!

But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb and called me through His grace, to reveal His Son in me, that I might preach Him among the Gentiles, I did not immediately confer with flesh and blood (Galatians 1:15-16).

A Christian had been chosen by God for a divine purpose in life. Your existence is not by accident, but by divine arrangement from above in life. Do not allow anyone to limit you in life. The Bible says in the opening text that when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb and called me through His grace, to reveal His Son in me, that I might preach Him among the Gentiles, I did not immediately confer with flesh and blood. Of course, every Christian should endeavor to take note of the fact that God indeed chose him for His divine purpose and assignment in life. Hence, a Christian was absolutely chosen by God to fulfill a divine purpose in his life forever.

God had chosen you even before you were born in life. Therefore, God knows you more than your imagination in life. That is why the Bible says in Ephesians 1:4, “Just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love.” Therefore, a Christian is a product of divine selection and election by God Almighty in life. God chose you as a Christian even before the foundation of the world began for His divine purpose and assignment in life. One of the reasons why God chose you even before the foundation of the world is for you to live for Him in holiness and love in life. A life that fails to fulfill a divine mandate in life is absolutely a life that is lived without purpose and mission in life forever.

Also, Jesus Christ chose you for a life of everlasting fruitfulness. You are expected to bear fruits worthy of repentance and righteousness in life. That is the reason why the Bible states in John 15:16, “You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.” In fact, a Christian was indeed chosen and ordained for fruitfulness and increase in life. Therefore, every Christian had been chosen by Jesus Christ for the main purpose of bearing fruits that will abide in His Name in life. A life that is lived devoid of Jesus Christ is absolutely a life that is lived without divine purpose and mission in life forever.

Daily Tip: God chose you to absolutely live a life of divine purpose and fruitfulness; therefore, always look up to Him for your divine guidance and direction in life forever. Shalom!

Golden Text: Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations (Jeremiah 1:5).
