HAVE A PRIESTLY VOCABULARY IN LIFE!
And has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. (Revelation 1:6).
According to Oxford Advanced Learner’s Dictionary of English 6th edition it defines, “Vocabulary” as all the words in a particular language. Every Christian is a priest unto the Lord in life. As a priest to the Lord, God wants you to speak and behave like Him in life. A priest does not speak vulgar language because that is not part of his nature in life. But he is known to speak words that edify and bring glory to God in life. In the opening text, the Bible says that God has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. Of course, every Christian should endeavor to take note of the fact that God indeed wants him to have a priestly vocabulary in life. Hence whenever a Christian learns to have a priestly vocabulary in life, he absolutely receives the grace and favor to speak and behave like his Heavenly Father in life forever.
The Bible further expatiated your priesthood in God when it stated in 1 Peter 2:9 thus, “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.” Therefore, a Christian who is a priest unto the Lord should endeavor to speak like a priest unto the Lord in life. God has made you His priest forever because of Jesus Christ’s sacrifice on the cross in life. Indeed, he is expected to speak always like a priest unto the Lord in life. A life that is lived by constantly speaking in priestly vocabulary is indeed a life blessed by God in life forever.
In fact, since he is a priest unto the Lord, he should never allow words that are corrupting and defying come out of his mouth because he is very special and precious to God in life. That is the reason why the Bible says in Ephesians 4:29, “Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.” In fact, a Christian should have a priestly vocabulary and always endeavor to speak like a priest in life. Of course, God expects him to have a priestly vocabulary to His glory in life. Therefore, a life of priestly vocabulary is absolutely a life that will always attract God’s blessings and favor forever.
Daily Tip: Every Christian is expected to have a priestly vocabulary, and speak words that edify and impact grace to the hearers in life forever. Shalom!
