DAY 6 WEDNESDAY: JANUARY 2021

MANIFESTING GOD’S GLORY IN YOUR LIFE!

Who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high (Hebrews 1:3).

Every Christian is called to manifest God’s glory in his life. The glory of God is in your life; therefore, manifest it for the world to see and give glory to God in the highest in life. The Bible says in the opening text that who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high. Of course, every Christian should endeavor to take note of the fact that God indeed wants him to constantly manifest His glory in his life. Hence, the glory of God is absolutely referred to as the power of His presence in the life of the believer forever.

The glory of God in your life is awesome, great and incomparable to anything else in life. It is the glory that transforms and metamorphoses the life of a Christian. That is why the Bible says in 2 Corinthians 3:18, “But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.” Therefore, a Christian should constantly behold the mirror of God’s glory and use it judiciously for his total transformation in life. The mirror of God’s glory carries the power of total transformation in life. Through the constant studying of God’s Word a Christian absolutely encounters the glory of God in his life forever.

Jesus Christ in the life of a Christian is the glory of God in his life. The glory of God brings about hope with expectations in life. That is the reason why the Bible says in Colossians 1:27, “To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.” In fact, the glory of a Christian is completely hidden in Christ Jesus and there lies his hope in life. The hope of a Christian is embedded in the riches and glory of Jesus Christ in life. The hope and glory represent a Christian’s future and expectations in God. Therefore, through God’s glory a Christian unveils his light for the world to see in life forever (Matthew 5:16).

Daily Tip: Every Christian is expected to manifest the glory of God in his life, and that glory is his future and expectations in God forever. Shalom!
