DAY 24 THURSDAY: DECEMBER 2020

USING GOD’S WORD BY FAITH WHEN PRAYING!

And His name, through faith in His name, has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes, the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all (Acts 3:16).

Some Christians do not know how to use God’s Word by faith when praying; and as a result they fail to get positive answers to their prayers in life. If you must get positive answers to your prayers, learn to use God’s Word by faith when praying in life. The Bible says in the opening text that His name, through faith in His name, has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes, the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all. Of course, every Christian should endeavor to take note of the fact that God indeed wants him to constantly use His Word by faith when praying in life. A life that is indeed devoid of faith and prayer is absolutely a life that is dead, redundant and as well unproductive in life forever.

Whenever one prays by faith using God’s Word, such prayer is offered according to His will and it pleases God the Father in life. That is why the Bible says in Hebrews 11:6, But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” Therefore, whenever a Christian learns to pray by using God’s Word of life by faith, he is indeed praying according to the will of God in life. Using God’s Word by faith in prayer gives positive results with tangible evidence for all to see and glorify God in life. Such a prayer is very efficacious and powerful in life. Hence, a Christian should endeavor to take note of the fact that faith without work is dead in life forever.

God’s Word is forever settled in heaven and on earth, and there is no power that can void it in life. That is the reason why the Bible says in Isaiah 55:11, “So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.” In fact, God’s Word of life couples with faith can never return void without fulfilling its purpose in one’s life. Using God’s Word by faith in prayers is to affirm God’s mandate that is irrevocable by any power whatsoever in life. God’s Word is yea, Amen and forever (2 Corinthians 1:20).

Daily Tip: When a Christian uses God’s Word by faith in prayers, he is affirming God’s mandate that is irrevocable by any power whatsoever in life forever. Shalom!

Golden Text: Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away (Matthew 24:35).
