DAY 18 FRIDAY: DECEMBER 2020

SEEING WITH THE EYES OF FAITH!

While we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal (2 Corinthians 4:18).

As Christians, God expects us to see with the eyes of faith in life. We should see things the way God sees them, and proclaim them into manifestation by faith in life. In the opening text, the Bible says that while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal. Of course, every Christian should endeavor to take note of the fact that God indeed wants him to see things with the eyes of faith in life. Indeed, seeing with the eyes of faith which is the sixth sense in life. A life that is devoid of faith is absolutely a life that is short-sighted both physically and spiritually in life forever.

In fact, the things that are seen with the five senses are temporary; hence, they are not real in life. But the things that are seen with the eyes of faith through the Word of God are real and eternal in life. That is why the Bible tells us in Hebrews 11:1, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Therefore, whenever a Christian learns to exercise his faith in God’s Word, he is seeing things with the eyes of faith in life. A Christian should not only believe on the things which are seen but believing God and His Word of life. Hence, seeing with the eyes of faith is to see absolutely from God’s perspective through His Word of life forever.

That is why the Bible tells us in Hebrews 11:6 thus, “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for him who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is the rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” In fact, anyone who wants to actually please God should learn to see things with the eyes of faith in life. A Christian is expected to see and look at things the way God sees them in life. That is indeed the eyes of faith which is the sixth sense in life. Hence, a Christian should learn to believe God’s promises of His Word and receive them by faith into his life. Therefore, seeing with the eyes of faith which is absolutely the sixth sense in life is to see things the way God sees them in life forever.

Daily Tip: A Christian is expected to see with the eyes of faith which is the sixth sense because without faith it is impossible to please God in life forever. Shalom!

Golden Text: Jesus said to him, “Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed” (John

20:29).
