DAY 9 WEDNESDAY: DECEMBER 2020

THE WISDOM OF GOD WE SPEAK!

But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory (1 Corinthians 2:7).

The wisdom of God is a mystery to the devil and the world; but to us Christians, it is not a mystery and we are expected to speak God’s wisdom in life. Indeed, the wisdom of God is dynamic, creative and full of power and authority in life. The Bible says in Jeremiah 10:12, “He has made the earth by His power, He has established the world by His wisdom, and has stretched out the heavens at His discretion.” Of course, every Christian should endeavor to take note of the fact that God indeed expects him to always speak His wisdom in life. The Bible says even the foolishness of God is far beyond the wisdom of the most wise men in life (1 Corinthians 1:25). The wisdom of God is absolutely the greatest asset a Christian could acquire in life forever.

In fact, every Christian should endeavor to always speak the wisdom of God in life. Whenever a Christian speaks the wisdom of God, he is speaking mystery because the world does not understand the wisdom of God in life. The only way to grow and become fully matured Christian is to learn to speak the wisdom of God always in life. That is why Apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians 2:6 thus, “However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the ruler of this age, who are coming to nothing.” Therefore, whenever a Christian learns to speak the wisdom of God, he is displaying divine maturity to the glory of God in life. The wisdom of God is absolutely the obvious display of God’s knowledge, power and presence in man daily affairs in life forever.

As a Christian, whenever you speak the Word of God to your challenges, obstacles, and to the devil; you are speaking the wisdom of God in life. The Word of God is the wisdom of God; and whenever a Christian speaks the Word of God, he is speaking in mystery to the world and Satan. That is the reason why Apostle Paul said thus, “But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him: nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned” (1 Corinthians 2:14). In fact, it takes the Spirit of God for a natural man to have the wisdom of God into his life. God’s wisdom is the most authentic in life forever.

Daily Tip: The Wisdom of God is a mystery to Satan; but grace, power and knowledge to the Christians in life forever. Shalom!

Golden Text: These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual (1 Corinthians 2:13).
