DAY 14 SATURDAY: NOVEMBER 2020

MAKING YOUR LIFE MEANINGFUL BY GIVING!

Let him who stole steal no longer, but rather let him labor, working with his hands what is good, that he may have something to give him who has need (Ephesians 4:28).

Every Christian is expected to make his life meaningful by giving. God wants you to be a great asset to your world and generation in life. You are not a liability but a blessing to mankind in life. The Bible says in the opening text that let him who stole steal no longer, but rather let him labor, working with his hands what is good, that he may have something to give him who has need. Of course, every Christian should endeavor to take note of the fact that God indeed wants him to make his life meaningful by giving. He should not be idle but be diligent in his assignment in life. Hence, a life that gives is indeed a life that is absolutely blessed and made meaningful in life forever.

The Bible says that you are the seed of Abraham through Christ Jesus in life. As the seed of Abraham, you are the heir apparent to the blessings of Abraham in life. Part of God’s blessings to Abraham was stated in Genesis 12:2, “I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing.” Therefore, whenever a Christian decided to obey and follow God faithfully, he definitely receives the grace to be a blessing to his generation in life. God has made you a blessing to your generation; therefore, make your life meaningful by giving faithfully always. Whoever learns to give generously and faithfully, his entire life becomes meaningful to his generation in life forever.

One of the best ways you can make your life meaningful is by giving because a giver never lacks in life. That is why the Bible says in Luke 6:38, “Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.” In fact, whenever a Christian learns to give faithfully and purposefully, his blessings in the Lord runs over even to his next generation in life. Every Christian should take note of the fact that he is a blessing to his generation in life. Therefore, cheerful and generous giving increases a Christian’s grace in the Lord by making him a blessing to his generation in life forever.

Daily Tip: You are not a liability but a great asset to your world and generation in life with Christ Jesus forever. Shalom!

Golden Text: And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work (2 Corinthians 9:8).
