GOD’S WORD IS SPIRIT AND LIFE!
It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life (John 6:63).
The Word of God is spirit and life; forever dependable and devoid of failure in life. When you build your life in God’s Word, you become indestructible and immovable in life as well. In the opening text, the Bible tells us that it is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life. Of course, every Christian should endeavor to take note of the fact that God’s Word is indeed spirit and life. God’s Word has the potency to revive the spirit, and brings life to dry bones and carcasses. Hence, there is absolutely nothing that could be compared to the potency of God’s Word in life forever.
No matter the state of life one finds himself, hold firmly to God’s Word in life. The Word of God can never return void without fulfilling its purpose in one’s life. That is why the Bible says in Isaiah 55:11, “So shall my word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.” Therefore, God’s Word is indeed spirit and life with the absolute potency to fulfill its purposes in life. It has eternal purposes and answers to every challenge and situation in life. A life that is devoid of God’s Word is a life that is indeed dead and forsaken forever.
As a Christian, you were born by the Word of God which is spirit and life. The Rhema of God is in your spirit, and that Rhema in your spirit gives you “zoe” which is the life of God. That is the reason why the Bible says in 1 Peter 1:23, “Having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the Word of God which lives and abides forever.” In fact, the Word of God is actually incorruptible; undefiled and eternally undisputable in life. The Rhema of God in your spirit man gives you everlasting life of God. Therefore, God’s Word is absolutely indisputable, undefiled and eternally secured in life forever.
Daily Tip: You should endeavor to build your life in God’s Word which is the Rhema, hence, His spoken Word and also the Spirit and Life of God forever. Shalom!
Golden Text: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God (John 1:1).
