DAY 2 MONDAY: NOVEMBER 2020

YOUR SUFFICIENCY IS OF GOD IN LIFE!

Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from our God (2 Corinthians 3:5).

God is more than sufficient to sustain us no matter the challenges, economic meltdown and obstacles in life. Every Christian is admonished to look up to God’s sufficiency in life. God gives us the ability to function and He strengthens us when we are weak in life. God fortifies and enables us physically, intellectually, mentally and spiritually for any given task or assignment in life. That is why the Bible says in Hebrews 13:21, “Make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.” Of course, every Christian should endeavor to take note of the fact that his sufficiency in life is of God forever.

The reason why Apostle Paul succeeded greatly in His ministry was because he looked up to God’s sufficiency and relied upon Him in every aspect of his life. Definitely, when you learn to depend upon God’s sufficiency; you will never experience lack and failure in life. God is more than able and faithful to see you through and sustain you in your journey of life. That is why Apostle Paul said in Philippians 4:19 thus, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” No wonder God said to him thus, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness…” (2 Corinthians 12:9). Therefore, whenever a Christian learns to depend fully on the grace of God, His strength quickens his weakness to function perfectly in life forever.

In fact, a Christian should be sufficient in God’s sufficiency in life. When you depend upon His sufficiency, your abilities and opportunities in life becomes unlimited and nothing becomes impossible to you in life. God is ever faithful and He can never put you to shame or allow you to be defeated in life. That is the reason why the Bible tells us in Isaiah 40:31, “But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.” In fact, whoever humbles himself to wait upon the Lord renews his strength like that of the eagles in life. A Christian should take note of the fact that God is more than sufficient to sustain him in life forever.

Daily Tip: As a Christian, never you make man your sufficiency because God is more than sufficient to sustain you in life forever. Shalom!

Golden Text: And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have abundance for every good work (2 Corinthians 9:8).
