DAY 21 WEDNESDAY: OCTOBER 2020

LET YOUR FAITH SPEAK FOR YOU!

So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believe that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says (Mark 11:22-23).

Every Christian should always let his faith be active and speak for him in life. The faith that does not speak is dead in life. The Bible says in the opening text that Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believe that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Of course, every Christian should endeavor to take note of the fact that God wants his faith to always speak for him in life. The faith that speaks is indeed the faith that overcomes challenges and obstacles in life forever.

Faith is a spirit that is expected to speak accordingly no matter the challenges of life. God does not expect your faith to be silent in the midst of challenges, but rather He expects it to always speak life into your situations and challenges. That is why the Bible says in 2 Corinthians 4:13, “And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, ‘I believe and therefore I spoke,’ we also believe and therefore speak. Therefore, faith is a spirit that always speaks God’s kind of life into any dead situations and challenges no matter the circumstances of life. The faith that does not speak in times of difficulties and trials is of course the faith that is clueless and dead in life forever.

God expects your faith to act and speak by calling those things which do not exist as though they existed in life. This kind of faith is always alive and active in God. That is the reason why the Bible says in Romans 4:17, “As it is written, ‘I have made you the father of many nations’ in the presence of Him whom he believed- God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did.” In fact, by faith in God a Christian overcomes all life’s challenges including the spirit of death in life. Therefore, a life that is devoid of faith is absolutely not worth living in life forever.

Daily Tip: Let your faith in God be always active and speak concerning your situations and obstacles in life forever. Shalom!

Golden Text: But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach) (Romans 10:8).
