Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9).

Here, God commanded Joshua to be strong and of good courage; he must not live in fear because He is with him all the way in life. When God promised to be with you, no one can be against you in life (Romans 8:31). If God is with you, no matter the challenges, problems, obstacles, hardship, trials, etc., it can never overwhelm you in life. God is able to do all things and fight your battles, if only you will trust Him and hold your peace in life. Joshua fought so many battles and won victoriously because he trusted God and allowed Him to fight for him in life. In Psalm 20:7, the Bible says, “Some trusted in chariots, and some in horses; but we will remember the name of our God.” Of course, every Christian should endeavor to take note of the fact that God is indeed with him all the way in life. Whenever God is with a Christian he becomes more than a conqueror in life forever.

God is a lovely and caring Father who will never deny His children no matter the situations in life. In fact, God is ever faithful to His promise and He is never a man that will lie in life. That is why the Bible tells us in Hebrews 13:5-6, “…I will never leave you nor forsake you. So we may boldly say: the Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?” Therefore, a Christian should have the boldness and confidence that the Almighty God who is his Helper in life and ministry is always with him all the way in life. When God has promised to be with you, you do not need to be afraid of anyone because He is with you all the way in life forever.

Of course, God knows that a time will come when the devil will want to instigate fear in order to make you afraid in life. But at that point in time, be strong and of good courage and know that God is with you all the way in life. The Lord promised in His Word that He will be with you when you passed through the waters, when you walk through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you go through the fire, you will not be burnt. The flame of the fire will not scorch you (Isaiah 43:2). In fact, whenever God promised to be with you in life and ministry, He is indeed with you twenty-four seven everyday. God is faithful to His Word and He can never fail in life forever.

Daily Tip: God has promised to be with you no matter the challenges, obstacles and dangers on the way. Therefore, put your trust upon Him because He is indeed faithful to His Word in life forever. Shalom!
