DAY 24 THURSDAY: SEPTEMBER 2020

CELEBRATING YOUR VICTORY IN CHRIST JESUS!

Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us (Romans 8:37).

A Christian should take note of the fact that he is no longer fighting battles with Satan and his cohorts; but all that he needs to do is to celebrate his victory as more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus. A conqueror is no more fighting battles but enjoying the dividends of his victory in life. The Bible says in the opening text that yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. Of course, every Christian should endeavor to take note of the fact that God wants him to constantly celebrate his victory in life with Christ Jesus. Hence, a Christian’s victory lies in the absolute victory of Jesus Christ over the powers of sin and Satan in life forever.

Jesus Christ had already fought your seen and unseen battles for you, and He had thus given you victory to celebrate in life. That is why the Bible says in 1 John 3:8, “He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.” Therefore, the coming of Jesus Christ was to destroy completely the works of the devil in the life of a Christian to enable him celebrate Christ’s victory over Satan triumphantly. Jesus Christ had made a Christian more than a conqueror on the cross of Calvary in life. Of a truth, a Christian will eternally remain victorious both here and hereafter in life forever.

In fact because Jesus Christ had made a Christian more than a conqueror; therefore, God does not want him to dissipate his energy fighting devils, but rather He expects him to always give thanks to Him for His victory in Christ Jesus. That is the reason why the Bible says in 2 Corinthians 2:14, “Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.” In fact, Jesus Christ made a Christian more than a conqueror in life by radiating and diffusing the fragrance of Christ’s victory in every place to the glory of God in life forever.

Daily Tip: Every Christian should take note of the fact that he is more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus, and live his life as such forever. Shalom!
