DAY 23 WEDNESDAY: SEPTEMBER 2020

LET CHRIST’S GLORY BE REVEALED THROUGH YOU!

To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27).

The glory of God is in Christ; while the glory of Jesus Christ is in the life of a Christian. A Christian is the embodiment of Jesus Christ’s glory on the earth in life. Until a Christian comes to the full realization of this mystery, he will continue to live a life of shame. The Bible says in the opening text that to them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Of course, every Christian should take note of the fact that he carries the glory of Jesus Christ in his life. The glory of Jesus Christ is indeed the absolute grace that beautifies a Christian’s life forever.

Jesus Christ is the glory of God that is full of grace and truth in life. That same glory had been given to us Christians by God for our covering in life. That is why the Bible says in John 1:14, “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.” Therefore, the glory of Jesus Christ dwells fully and being revealed in the life of a Christian. Every Christian is expected as a basic necessity to let Jesus Christ’s glory to be fully revealed through his daily living in life. A life that is devoid of God’s glory is a life that is trapped in sin with absolute bondage forever.

When Jesus Christ’s glory is revealed in the life of a Christian, he automatically undergoes a process of metamorphosis through total transformation in his life. That is the reason why the Bible says in 2 Corinthians 3:18, “But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.” In fact, whenever a Christian reveals Jesus Christ’s glory in his life and ministry, he is bound to experience total transformation in the realm of the Spirit in life forever.

Daily Tip: The glory of Jesus Christ is in the life of a Christian; therefore, he is expected to reveal it for the world to see and behold it in his life forever. Shalom!

Golden Text: And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one (John 17:22).
