LEARN TO GIVE YOUR VERY BEST ALWAYS!
Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you (Luke 6:38).
When it comes to giving, God wants your very best and nothing less in life. Every Christian should learn to give his very best always in life. In the opening text, the Bible tells us that give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you. Of course, every Christian should endeavor to take note of the fact that God wants him to give his very best always. God is pleased when you give your very best to Him in life. It is indeed easier to give the very best when one has first and foremost given himself to Jesus Christ in life forever.
As a Christian, God wants you to give cheerfully and not grudgingly or by compulsion in life. That is why the Bible tells us in 2 Corinthians 9:7, “So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.” In fact, whenever a Christian gives from his heart devoid of grudging and compulsion, he is indeed giving cheerfully unto the Lord in life. Whenever he learns to give cheerfully, he is giving his very best to the Lord as well in life. God will definitely reward greatly such a giving that comes cheerfully from the heart in life. Hence, a giving from the heart is a giving from the very best to God in life forever.
Apostle Paul used himself as a case study to show others how to give in order to support the weak in life. He further stated in Acts 20:35, “I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.” In fact, a Christian should learn how to give in supporting the weak and the very poor because a giver is eternally blessed by God in life. A giver is always at the top and he can never come down in life. Therefore, a Christian should always be at the top by learning often to give his very best to the Lord in life forever.
Daily Tip: Every Christian should learn to give his very best because a giver is always at the top and he cannot come down in life forever. Shalom!
Golden Text: The generous soul will be made rich, and he who waters will also be watered himself (Proverbs 11:25).
