DAY 24 MONDAY: AUGUST 2020

GLORIFYING GOD WITH YOUR LIFE!

He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God (Romans 4:20).

God created you for a purpose, and that purpose is to glorify Him in life. If your life does not give God glory; therefore, the purpose for your existence is defeated in life. One of the best ways to give God glory is to live your life by faith in His Word. The Bible says in the opening text that he did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God. Of course, every Christian should endeavor to take note of the fact that the reason why he was created by God is for him to constantly give glory to His Name in life. A Christian was indeed created to always glorify God in life. A life that is always glorifying God is a life that always fulfilled destiny in life forever.

When a Christian learns to obey God by faith in His Word, definitely his life will always bring glory to God. That is why the Bible says in Matthew 5:16, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” Therefore, whenever a Christian’s life shines forth in the midst of darkness, directly or indirectly he is glorifying God in life. Every Christian should take note of the fact that he was born to give glory to God in life. This is possible by faith through total and absolute obedience to God’s Word in life. A life of absolute obedience to God’s Word is indeed a life that is glorifying God forever.

The Bible gave us a story of ten lepers who came to Jesus Christ for healing and deliverance in life. But out of the ten lepers, only one came to give glory to God in life. This made Jesus Christ to ask in Matthew 17:18 thus, “Were there not any found who returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?” In fact, whenever a Christian learns to give thanks to God always, he is also giving glory to His Name in life as well. A life that fails to glorify God is a life full of ingratitude, insults and abuses. This kind of life can never glorify God because it takes gratitude to actually appreciate and as well glorify Him in life forever.

Daily Tip: Every Christian was born to give glory to God always through total and absolute obedience by faith in His Word forever. Shalom!
