MAGNIFY YOUR MINISTRY IN THE LORD!
For I speak to you Gentiles; inasmuch as I am an apostle to the Gentiles, I magnify my ministry (Romans 11:13).
The word, “Magnify” simply means to amplify, spice up or boost up in life. Therefore, every Christian is expected to amplify, spice up or boost up his ministry in the Lord. Whatever ministry God has given to you, you should learn to magnify it to the glory of the Lord in life. The Bible tells us in the opening text that I speak to you Gentiles; inasmuch as I am an apostle to the Gentiles, I magnify my ministry. Of course, every Christian should endeavor to take note of the fact that God wants him to continually magnify his ministry in life. It is by magnifying one’s ministry in the Lord that brings about expansion, greatness and fulfillment in life forever.
God has prepared you right from the foundation of the world as His workmanship for good work in life. A Christian should never be idle but do something tangible to the glory of the Lord in life. That is why the Bible says in Ephesians 2:10, “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” Therefore, a Christian is a workmanship created in Jesus Christ for good works in life. The life of a Christian is indeed destined for good works and the propagation of the gospel of Jesus Christ in life. Learn to magnify the work of the ministry that God has given to you to do in life forever.
One of the reasons why you need to magnify your ministry is because it is your divine duty; hence, if you failed to do it no one else will do it for you in life. Whatever ministry you are called into, magnify it and make good use of the opportunity in life. That is the reason why the Bible says, “Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going” (Ecclesiastes 9:10). In fact, God vehemently wants you to always magnify your ministry and do it with all your might to His glory in life. The work of the ministry is the work of one’s redemption in Christ Jesus and it is worthy to be magnified in life forever.
Daily Tip: It is the divine duty of every Christian to magnify his ministry to the glory of the Lord in life forever. Shalom!
Golden Text: But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry (2 Timothy 4:5).
