DAY 27 MONDAY: JULY 2020

THE LOVE OF DIVINE COMMUNION IN LIFE!

Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My words; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him (John 14:23).

A Christian is expected to take note of the fact that there is a love of divine communion in life. This is the love of divinity that ensued between a Christian and the Supreme in life. The Bible says in the opening text that Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My words; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.” Of course, every Christian should endeavor to take note of the fact that the love of divine communion is the love that unites him with God in life. This kind of love is centered on total obedience to Jesus Christ’s teachings in life. The love that is indeed purely divine and agape by nature in life forever.

Any Christian who wants to experience this kind of love must be fully yielded and grafted into the body of Jesus Christ in life. That is why the Bible says in John 15:5, “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruits; for without Me you can do nothing.” Therefore, a Christian is a branch that abides in the Vine of life which is Jesus Christ in life. The love that leads to divine communion is a love that is fully yielded to become part and parcel of the body of Christ Jesus in life forever.

When a Christian experiences divine communion with the divinity, the glory of Jesus Christ becomes fully revealed in his life and character. That is the reason why the Bible says in Colossians 1:27, “To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.” In fact, whenever a Christian lives in divine communion with God the Father, hence, the glory of Jesus Christ becomes evident for all to see in his life. The glory of Jesus Christ in the life of a Christian is a by-product of divine communion with the divinity in life forever.

Daily Tip: Your total obedience to Jesus Christ’s teachings is the test of your love that leads to divine communion with the divinity in life forever. Shalom!

Golden Text: He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?” Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, “Do you love Me?” And he said to Him, “Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You.” Jesus said to him, “Feed My sheep” (John 21:17).
