DAY 8 WEDNESDAY: JULY 2020

THE IMPARTATION OF GOD’S POWER IN LIFE!

Now God worked unusual miracles by the hands of Paul, so that even handkerchiefs or aprons were brought from his body to the sick, and the diseases left them and the evil spirits went out of them (Acts 19:11-12).

God’s power can be transferred from one medium to another because the Holy Spirit is dynamic in life. The Bible says in the opening text that God worked unusual miracles by the hands of Paul, so that even handkerchiefs or aprons were brought from his body to the sick, and the diseases left them and the evil spirits went out of them. Of course, every Christian should endeavor to take note of the fact that God’s power can be truly imparted from one medium to another in life. A Christian is expected to carry the divine power of God and impart it to others in life forever.

Jesus Christ told the disciples vividly that they have received God’s power to perform greater works because He is going back to His Father. That is why the Bible says in John 14:12, “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.” Therefore, the ability to believe and have faith in Jesus Christ guarantees greater and absolute power to function in life. Every Christian has received the grace for the impartation of God’s power in life. God’s power can truly be imparted from one medium to another by divine faith in life forever.

When Jesus Christ resurrected and he was about to ascend to heaven, He promised His disciples the impartation of God’s power thus, “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth” (Acts 1:8). In fact, the impartation of the Holy Spirit’s power is indeed the promise of Jesus Christ to the disciples at His departure to heaven. This promise was fulfilled on the day of Pentecost and three thousand souls were won to the glory of God in life forever.

Daily Tip: Every Christian has the grace for the impartation of God’s power; therefore, take advantage of your authority in Christ Jesus forever. Shalom!

Golden Text: But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit (Jude 1:20).
