YOUR GIVING DETERMINES YOUR LEVEL OF HARVEST!
But other seed fell on good ground and yielded a crop that sprang up, increased and produced: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred (Mark 4:8).
God expects every Christian to be a good giver because the level of his giving determines the level of his harvest in life. When you learn to give bountifully, you also harvest bountifully in life. In the opening text, the Bible says that other seed fell on good ground and yielded a crop that sprang up, increased and produced: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred. Of course, every Christian should endeavor to take note of the fact that his giving determines his level of harvest in life. The law of giving is highly equivalent to the law of sowing in life forever.
Jesus Christ made it clear to us vividly when He said in Luke 6:38 thus, “Give, and it will be given to you: good measure pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.” Therefore, a Christian should cultivate the habit of giving joyfully in order to reap bountifully from the Lord always in life. When a Christian learns to give using the right measure, he will definitely reap a great harvest in life. Giving is a principle that operates in God’s kingdom in life forever.
As a Christian, God expects you to be a cheerful giver in life. A cheerful giver is expected to give willingly devoid of grudges and coercion in life. That is the reason why the Bible says in 2 Corinthians 9:7, “So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.” In fact, a Christian is supposed to be a cheerful giver by always giving with a purposeful heart to the glory of God in life. A cheerful giving must come from the heart in sincerity and humility to the glory of God. When a Christian gives cheerfully with the right measure, his level of harvest is bound to be great in life forever.
Daily Tip: Every Christian is expected to be a cheerful giver because his giving determines the level of his harvest in life forever. Shalom!
Golden Text: But this I say: he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully (2 Corinthians 9:6).
