DAY 29 MONDAY: JUNE 2020

YOU WERE CREATED FOR A PURPOSE!

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them (Ephesians 2:10).

Everyone was created by God for a purpose in life. You were not created by chance or by accident in life. You were divinely created to fulfill a purpose in life. If you failed to know the purpose why you were created, kindly seek the face of God and He would show it to you in life. The Bible says in the opening text that we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. Of course, every Christian should endeavor to take note of the fact that he had been created by God for a divine purpose in life. Hence, a Christian was created to fulfill a divine purpose and assignment on the surface of the earth in life forever.

Saul who was later called Apostle Paul was a fierce persecutor of the early Church in life. While he was on his mission, God arrested him in Damascus and revealed to him the purpose of his existence thus, “But rise and stand on your feet; for I have appeared to you for this purpose, to make you a minister and a witness both of the things which you have seen and of the things which I will yet reveal to you” (Acts 26:16). Therefore, Apostle Paul’s life became transformed and as well changed the very day he got to know the purpose he was created by God to fulfill in life. Indeed, it is highly expected by everyone to fulfill the purpose in which he was born and called by God to accomplish in life forever.

God created you for a purpose, and until you discover that purpose, you can never fulfill your destiny in life. That is the reason why the Bible says in 2 Timothy 1:9, “Who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began.” In fact, the reason why Jesus Christ died on the cross to save us from sin and damnation is because we as Christians could as a necessity fulfill the purpose of our creation by God who is our heavenly Father. So, every Christian was indeed called and chosen by God to fulfill his purpose and assignment in life. Your destiny fulfillment is tied to your fulfilling of purpose and assignment in life forever.

Daily Tip: Until you discover your purpose and assignment in life, you can never fulfill your destiny in life forever. Shalom!

Golden Text: He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8).
