POSITION YOURSELF FOR A CHANGE IN LIFE!
To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck what is planted (Ecclesiastes 3:1-2).
Change is inevitable and at the same time constant in life. Everyone needs constant change in his life. For one to experience change, he needs to position himself at the right place in life. The Bible says in the opening text that to everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck what is planted. Of course, every Christian should endeavor to take note of the fact that God indeed wants him to always position himself for a change in life. One can only position oneself for a total change and turnaround by completely aligning himself with the Holy Spirit in life forever.
The Bible tells us vividly about a woman, Rahab who was a harlot in life. She positioned herself for a change and turnaround when she saved the lives of the two spies sent by Joshua into Jericho. She responded thus in Joshua 2:12, “Now therefore, I beg you, swear to me by the Lord, since I have shown you kindness, that you also will show kindness to my father’s house, and give me a true token.” Therefore, it is absolutely what one sows into life; he is also expected to reap in life. Indeed, it was the kindness shown by Rehab to the two spies that positioned her and her family for a divine change and turnaround of God’s mercy and love in her life forever.
The Bible further tells us about a woman, Mary Magdalene who was a harlot and a sinner in life. She positioned herself for a change and turnaround when she brought an alabaster flask of fragrant oil to anoint Jesus Christ thus, “And stood at His feet behind Him weeping; and she began to wash His feet with her tears, and wiped them with the hair of her head; and she kissed His feet and anointed them with the fragrance oil” (Luke 7:38). In fact, Mary Magdalene who was once a prostitute and a great sinner experienced a divine change and turnaround in her life as a result of her generosity and humility to the Lord of her life. It is indeed the duty of every Christian to always position oneself for a total change and turnaround in life forever.
Daily Tip: Every Christian is expected to position himself for a total change and turnaround because change is inevitable and constant in life forever. Shalom!
