DAY 7 SUNDAY: JUNE 2020

SET FREE TO FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD!

And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, he has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses (Colossians 2:13).

Until you are set free, you can never fellowship with God in life. Fellowshipping with God entails absolute freedom with Him in life. When you have constant fellowship with God, your spirit will be totally liberated and set free from bondage in life. In the opening text, the Bible tells us that you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, he has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses. Of course, every Christian should endeavor to take note of the fact that until he is set free from total bondage, he can never have the liberty to fellowship with God in Christ Jesus. Fellowshipping with God in the spirit gives one absolute freedom and victory in life forever.

In fact, before you can be totally set free to fellowship with God, your sins need to be forgiven and cleansed by the precious blood of Jesus Christ in life. That is why the Bible says in Ephesians 1:7, “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.” Therefore, it is in Jesus Christ’s death on the cross we have redemption and forgiveness of sins which ushers a Christian into the riches of God’s grace in life. Until one’s sins are forgiven, he can never be opportune to enjoy the riches of God’s grace in his life. The confession and forgiveness of sins are highly necessary before one can have fellowship with God in life forever.

Again, when one is totally set free by fellowshipping with God, he is bound to experience His peace through Christ Jesus in life. That is the reason why the Bible says in Romans 5:1, “Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” In fact, whenever a Christian is justified by faith through Jesus Christ, he automatically has eternal peace with God in life. It is indeed the justification by faith in Christ Jesus that gives one access to God’s divine peace in life. The peace of God which surpasses all human understanding is graciously received by faith through constant fellowshipping with God in life forever.

Daily Tip: Until one is set free and forgiven, he cannot have fellowship with God by faith and also have accessed to His peace in life forever. Shalom!

Golden Text: And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled (Colossians 1:21).
