DAY 29 FRIDAY: MAY 2020

FOR ALL THINGS ARE YOURS IN LIFE!

Therefore let no one boast in men. For all things are yours: whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas, or the world or life or death, or things present or things to come- all are yours (1 Corinthians 3:21-22).

The Bible says that all things are yours in life. Everything needed for your growth and progress had been given to you in Christ Jesus in life. It is just like a seed which has all the potentials within it to grow and develop into a large tree in life. The Bible tells us in the opening text that therefore let no one boast in men. For all things are yours: whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas, or the world or life or death, or things present or things to come- all are yours. Of course, every Christian should endeavor to take note of the fact that all things are his in life. Furthermore, a Christian is expected to know that all things are his through Jesus Christ in life forever.

You have all what it takes as a Christian to grow and develop your potentials in Christ Jesus for life. A Christian needs to develop his faith in the Lord in order to receive all things that God has given to him in life. That is why the Bibles says in Romans 12:3, “For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you… as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.” Therefore, it is by faith through grace a Christian receives all things through Jesus Christ in life. Indeed, a Christian was given a measure of faith by God in order for him to grow and develop through the grace he received in Christ Jesus. Therefore, every Christian should learn to develop his faith in the Lord in life forever.

God has given you all things needed for your physical and spiritual growth in the Lord for life. Nothing did God withhold from you as a Christian in life. That is the reason why the Bible says in Romans 8:32, “He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?” If God did not in anyway spare His own Son, Jesus Christ for a Christian’s full deliverance over death, then, He would as well give him all things both physically and spiritually in life. In fact, a Christian was indeed privileged by God through divine grace and enablement to receive all things in life. Hence, every Christian has all what it takes for his growth, progress and development in life; therefore, he should learn to exercise his faith in the Lord in life forever.

Daily Tip: For all things are yours in Christ Jesus; therefore, you should learn to exercise your faith in the Lord in life forever. Shalom!
