DAY 21 THURSDAY: MAY 2020

HAVE A POSITIVE THOUGHT IN LIFE!

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy- meditate on these things (Philippians 4:8).

As a Christian, God wants you to have a positive thought towards life. Do not have a negative thought about life. In the opening text, the Bible says that finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy- meditate on these things. Of course, every Christian should endeavor to take note of the fact that God indeed wants him to have a positive thought in life. It is the duty of a Christian to have a positive thought about life through constant meditation on God’s Word in life forever.

The thought in your life has the ability to control your life either for good or for evil. That is the reason why a Christian should learn to program his heart to think positively in life. That is why the Bible says in Proverbs 4:23, “Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life.” Therefore, the issues of life are indeed by-products of one’s positive thoughts in life. What you allow to go inside your heart will either make or mar you in life. Whenever a Christian learns to keep his heart with all diligence, he begins to experience life in a higher dimension. Indeed, every Christian should learn to guard his heart rightly through constant meditations in God’s Word in life forever.

One of the ways by which you can guard your heart rightly is through the power of meditation in life. A Christian should learn to meditate constantly on the Word of God in life. The more you meditate on God’s Word, the greater God’s Rhema in your spirit in life. That is the reason why the Bible says in 1 Timothy 4:15, “Meditate on these things; give yourself entirely to them, that your progress may be evident to all.” In fact, through constant meditations in God’s Word a Christian experiences all round growths and progress in life. Whenever a Christian learns to meditate in God’s Word daily, his progress in life becomes evident for all to see and give glory to God. Indeed, a Christian should learn to meditate positively in the Word of God daily in life forever.

Daily Tip: Every Christian should have a positive thought by learning to meditate on the Word of God daily in life forever. Shalom!

Golden Text: The thoughts of the righteous are right, but the counsels of the wicked are deceitful (Proverbs 12:5).
