DILIGENCE: THE PATHWAY TO YOUR GREATNESS!
The hand of the diligent will rule, but the lazy man will be put to forced labor (Proverbs 12:24).
Anyone who wants to be great in life must learn to be diligent in everything he does in life. Greatness in life does not come on a platter of gold but in diligence and commitment. When you are not diligent, it therefore means that you are lazy in life. The Bible says in the opening text that the hand of the diligent will rule, but the lazy man will be put to forced labor. Of course, every Christian should endeavor to take note of the fact that diligence is the only pathway to his greatness in life forever.
God wants us to be diligent not only in the things of life but also in our total commitment and service to Him. That is why the Bible says in Romans 12:11, “Not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord.” Therefore, whenever a Christian is fervent in spirit, serving the Lord and at same time diligent in whatever he does in life, definitely, beyond the sky becomes his limit. When you are diligent in serving the Lord in your spirit, your life is enhanced and boosted to a greater capacity. Diligence in God’s service enhances a Christian’s ability in every area of his life forever.
Also, when a Christian becomes fervent in the spirit and diligent in God’s service, his gifts in life become pronounce to humanity. That is the reason why the Bible says in Proverbs 22:29, “Seest thou a man diligent in his business? He shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.” In fact, it is indeed diligence in life that makes one taller than his contemporaries and at the same time standing before kings in life. God expects you to be diligent in whatever area you find yourself in life so that your gift will make a way for you forever (Proverbs 18:16).
Daily Tip: Diligence is the pathway to your greatness in life; therefore, do not be lazy but be diligent and faithful to God in everything you do in life forever. Shalom!
