DAY 29 WEDNESDAY: APRIL 2020

YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO ASK GOD!

Ask of Me, and I will give you the nations for your inheritance, and the ends of the earth for your possession (Psalm 2:8).

Every Christian has the right to ask God for anything as long as it is within His will in life. A Christian should learn to come boldly into the throne of God and place a demand in the Name of Jesus Christ in life. You should never be silent and assumed that God knows what you want and He will provide in life. The Bible says in the opening text that you ask of Me, and I will give you the nations for your inheritance, and the ends of the earth for your possession. Of course, every Christian should endeavor to take note of the fact that he has the right to place a demand before God in life. God has given every Christian the right to ask Him of anything through the Name of Jesus Christ in life forever.

Jesus Christ made it clear to His disciples that it was God’s will for them to ask Him for their needs in life. A Christian should never be silent because he has the right to ask God for whatsoever he desires in life. That is why the Bible says in Matthew 7:7, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” Therefore, it is absolutely the will of God for a Christian to always ask, seek and knock for divine doors to be opened in his life and ministry. Indeed, the principle of asking has it results in finding through the process of knocking in the Name of Jesus Christ in life. Hence, whenever a Christian refuses to ask God for his needs, he is disobeying God’s Word in life forever.

The Bible gave us a vivid account of King Solomon when he asked God for wisdom; and God was pleased because it was according to His will in life (2 Chronicles 1:10-12). That is the reason why the Bible says in James 1:5, “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to Him.” In fact, a Christian that will always obey the principles of asking, seeking and knocking can never lack anything good no matter the challenges in life. It is absolutely the will of God and the right of a Christian to ask of Him whatsoever he desires in the precious Name of Jesus Christ in life. Therefore, every Christian is expected to always exercise his right by asking God for whatever he desires in life and ministry forever.

Daily Tip: It is your right and privilege as a Christian to ask God for whatsoever you desire from Him in the precious Name of Jesus Christ in life forever. Shalom!

Golden Text: And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son (John 14:13).
