DAY 13 MONDAY: APRIL 2020

HUMILITY: THE PATHWAY TO YOUR GREATNESS!

And said, “Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 18:3-4).

In fact, humility is the pathway to your greatness in life. Whoever humbles himself before God will receive grace for exaltation in life. In the opening text, the Bible tells us that unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Of course, every Christian should endeavor to take note of the fact that humility is indeed the pathway to his greatness in life. The life of humility is a life of greatness. Therefore, every Christian should take note of the fact that for one to achieve greatness, he must learn to humble himself through humility in life forever.

The life of humility will always lead to greatness because God gives grace and empowers the humble to excel in life. That is why the Bible says in James 4:6, “But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: ‘God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” Therefore, whoever wants to constantly receives grace from God should endeavor to submit himself to humility in life. Whoever chooses to live a life of humility will always receive favor and grace from God. But when you choose otherwise, God will always resist you in life. Of course, the life of humility is a divine life in line with absolute and total submission to God’s will in life forever.

God expects every Christian to live a humble life. Humility is not stupidity or cowardice as some may think in life. Humility is from the heart and it is not an outward showmanship or display in life. That is the reason why the Bible says in 1 Peter 5:6, “Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time.” In fact, a Christian is expected to humble himself under the Mighty Hand of God for His divine exaltation in life. Whenever a Christian learns to humble himself under the Mighty Hand of God, definitely his exaltation in life is fully secured.  A Christian should never humble himself to Satan and his cohorts, but under the Mighty Hand of God in life forever. Happy Easter to all Christians!

Daily Tip: God does not expect a Christian to humble himself to the enemies including Satan, but under the Mighty Hand of His in life forever. Shalom!

Golden Text: Before destruction the heart of a man is haughty, and before honor is humility (Proverbs 18:12).
