DAY 12 SUNDAY: APRIL 2020

JESUS CHRIST IS YOUR RESURRECTION IN LIFE!

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live (John 11:25).

Today happens to be Easter’s Sunday; a day set aside worldwide to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead by all Christians in life. Jesus Christ is your resurrection; therefore, the yoke of death over your life had been broken through Jesus Christ’s resurrection in life. In the opening text, the Bible tells us that Jesus Christ said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.” Of course, every Christian should endeavor to take note of the fact that Jesus Christ is his resurrection in life. Jesus Christ being the resurrection and the life simply means that He is the Alpha and Omega of death and life forever.

In fact before the coming of Jesus Christ, man had been in bondage to sin and Satan in life. As a result of this, death became the last enemy of man in life (1 Corinthians 15:26). The coming of Jesus Christ broke the power and yoke of sin and liberated us from bondage in life. That is why the Bible says in 1 Peter 1:3, “…who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.” Therefore, through the death of Jesus Christ a Christian was redeemed but through His resurrection he became triumphant in life. Through Jesus Christ’s resurrection from the dead, the hope of a new life begins for every Christian in life forever.

Every Christian had been liberated from the yoke and power of death through the resurrection of Jesus Christ in life. That is the reason why Apostle Paul says in Philippians 3:10, “That I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death.” In fact, it is absolutely the will of God for a Christian to know and experience the power of Jesus Christ’s resurrection in life. A Christian is expected to know the power of Jesus Christ’s resurrection and partake in the fellowship of His sufferings by conforming to His death in life. Therefore, every Christian that partakes in the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death will also be glorified with Him in His resurrection in life forever. Happy Easter’s Celebration to all Christians!

Daily Tip: Every Christian is expected to know the power of Jesus Christ’s resurrection and be a partaker of the fellowship of His sufferings by conforming to His death in life forever. Shalom!
