DAY 10 FRIDAY: APRIL 2020

REFLECT THE GLORY OF JESUS CHRIST!

Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world (1 John 4:17).

Every Christian carries the glory of Jesus Christ in life. God expects you to constantly reflect the glory of Christ Jesus. That is one of the major ways your life can be fulfilled as a Christian in life. The Bible says in the opening text that love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. Of course, every Christian should endeavor to take note of the fact that God indeed wants him to constantly reflect the glory of Jesus Christ in life. The glory of Jesus Christ radiates around your life; hence, reflect it for the world to see. Therefore, every Christian should take note of the fact that he carries the same glory of Jesus Christ in life forever.

You are the brightness of Jesus Christ’s glory; the very image and likeness of God in life. Therefore, you are not just ordinary because you are loaded with the grace and power of the divinity in life. That is why the Bible says in Hebrews 1:3, “Who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person…” Therefore, Jesus Christ being the brightness of God’s glory and the express image of His person, hence, a Christian is expected to reflect His glory for the world to see always in life.  As a Christian, you carry the glory and the very presence of Jesus Christ in life. The brightness of Jesus Christ’s glory and the express image of His divinity become the shield and security of a Christian in life. Indeed, every Christian should let Jesus Christ’s glory reflect constantly through his life daily and forever.

As Christians, one of the major ways we can reflect the glory of Jesus Christ is to emulate and follow His steps in our lives. That is the reason why the early believers were called Christians in Antioch meaning, “The little christs” (Acts 11:26). Therefore, the Bible admonishes us thus, “For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps” (1 Peter 2:21). In fact, a Christian is indeed a little christ that had been called by God to constantly reflect the divine glory of Jesus Christ in life.  Of course, Jesus Christ went through suffering for our sakes in order for us to enjoy His glory in our lives forever.

Daily Tip: A Christian carries the glory of Jesus Christ; therefore, he is expected to reflect it for the world to see and behold in life forever. Shalom!

Golden Text: He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked (1 John 2:6).
