THERE IS NO LATENESS WITH GOD!
Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes” (Mark 9:23).
In God’s timing and diary, there is nothing like lateness in life. Whatever God does is appropriate in the time of life. In the opening text, the Bible says that Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” Of course, every Christian should endeavor to take note of the fact that there is absolutely nothing like lateness with God in life. When you have faith in God as a Christian, nothing in life can be too late and impossible with you. Therefore, God wants you to walk with Him by faith so that your ways can please Him in life forever.
Let us take Abraham as a case study in the Bible. God called and promised to bless and make him the father of all nations when he was 75 years old. But this promise never came until he was 100 years old. That is why the Bible says in Romans 4:19, “And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb.” Therefore, absolute faith and trust in God is an overcomer of weakness and lateness in life. Of course, with God there is nothing like lateness in life forever.
Similar scenario was recorded in the Bible during the time of Jesus Christ when Lazarus was dead and buried for four days. That is the reason why the Bible says in John 11:17, “So when Jesus came, He found that he had been in the tomb four days.” Jesus Christ demonstrated here that with God no condition can be too late. He gave order that the stone be rolled away and raised up Lazarus from the dead (John 11:43-44). In fact, Lazarus’ death case coming back to life was a total demonstration of the fact that there is nothing like lateness with God in life forever.
Daily Tip: There is no lateness in God’s timing and diary, and with God no condition can be too late. Whatever He does is appropriate in the time of life forever. Shalom!
Golden Text: Then Abraham fell on his face and laughed, and said in his heart, “Shall a child be born to a man who is one hundred years old? And shall Sarah, who is ninety years old, bear a child? (Genesis 17:17).
