THE BENEFITS OF BEING DILIGENT IN LIFE!
Seest thou a man diligent in his business? He shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men (Proverbs 22:29).
The benefits of being diligent in life can never be overemphasized. When a Christian becomes diligent in life, he stands out among the multitudes before kings, nobles and governors. The Bible says in the opening text that seest thou a man diligent in his business? He shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men. Of course, every Christian should endeavor to take note of the fact that being diligent in life is a great benefit to mankind. A Christian should never be lazy and slothful in his business but be diligent and prudent in everything he does in life forever.
One of the benefits of being diligent in life is that he makes one to experience abundant life and prosperity. Laziness and slothfulness lead to poverty in life. That is why the Bible says in Proverbs 13:4, “The soul of a lazy man desires, and has nothing; but the soul of the diligent shall be made rich.” Therefore, absolute diligence in one’s life can plunge one into abundance and prosperity in life. Diligence in life makes one’s soul to be merry and enjoy a life of abundance and increase. But laziness makes one’s soul to be poor and dejected in life forever.
Furthermore, diligence gives authority and makes one a leader in life. But laziness puts one into bondage and makes him a perpetual slave for life. That is the reason why the Bible says in Proverbs 12:24, “The hand of the diligent will rule, but the lazy man will be put to forced labor.” In fact, a diligent hand is blessed to become a leader in life, but a lazy hand is cursed into slavery and abject poverty in life. A Christian should never for any reason put himself under bondage by becoming a slave to life as a result of being lazy, but he should endeavor to be diligent and prudent in life forever.
Daily Tip: Every Christian should avoid the life of laziness and slothfulness, he should be diligent and prudent in order to exercise authority and become a leader in life forever. Shalom!
