DAY 23 SUNDAY: FEBRUARY 2020

GOD’S LOVE IS WITHOUT CONDITION IN LIFE!

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8).

The love of God is without condition in life. God did not wait for us to be righteous and perfect before extending His love to us in life. Every Christian is expected to emulate God by demonstrating his unconditional love to his neighbor. In the opening text, the Bible says that God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Of course, every Christian should endeavor to take note of the fact that God’s own love is without condition in life. God’s unconditional love is known as, “Agape” in the Greek context in life forever.

Apostle Paul was able to excel in his ministry than all his contemporaries because he had this notion in mind in life. He loved unconditionally all that he came in contact with irrespective of their background, social status and religion in life. That is why the Bible states in 1 Corinthians 9:22, “To the weak I became as weak, that I might win the weak. I have become all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.” Therefore, whoever wants to be a successful soul-winner should endeavor to love unconditionally in life forever.

The agape love of God is unconditional without any strings attached in life. The Scriptures say that God loves us even while we were still sinners and enemies to Him in life. That is the reason why the Bible says, “Loves suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil” (1 Corinthians 13:4-5). In fact, the agape love of God makes a Christian to be perfect in all ramifications in life forever.

Daily Tip: God’s love is unconditional with no strings attached in life forever. Shalom!

Golden Text: And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love (1 Corinthians 13:13).
