GOD’S WORD IS LIFE!
My son, give attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart; for they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh (Proverbs 4:20-24).
The Word of God is life to those who believe and accept it in life. It cannot return void and must fulfill its purpose in your life. In the opening text, the Bible tells us that my son, give attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart; for they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh. God’s Word has the potency to set you free from bondage in life. Of course, every Christian should endeavor to take note of the fact that God’s Word is indeed life forever.
God’s Word is God Himself in operation in the life of man. It is Omnipotent, Omnipresent and Omniscient in life. It always remain the same and can never change no matter the challenges and situations of life (Mark 13:31). That is why the Bible says in John 1:1, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” Therefore, God’s Word which is the Rhema is life to the body, soul and spirit of man in life. The Word of God in your life is equivalent to God Himself in your life forever.
Therefore if God’s Word is in your life, it has the potency and ability to perform wonderful and awesome things in your life. It is the only panacea to man’s problems both here and hereafter. That is the reason why the Bible says in Psalm 107:20, “He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.” In fact, God’s Word heals, delivers and brings life to the body, soul and spirit of man in life. The Word of God is life and health to all who believe and accept it into their lives forever.
Daily Tip: The Word of God is life and health to your flesh and bones. It can never return void without fulfilling its purpose in your life forever. Shalom!
Golden Text: So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it (Isaiah 55:11).
