MOVE FORWARD IN THE LORD!
I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:14).
As a Christian, you should always desire to move forward in the Lord. You should never be contented with your present state spiritually. God expects you to grow in every area of your life. You should not be static but be dynamic in life. In the opening text, the Bible says that I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Of course, every Christian should endeavor to take note of the fact that God indeed wants him to always move forward in life. It is the duty of a Christian to desire pressing toward the goal for the prize in life forever.
In fact for you to move forward in the Lord, you need to desire the Word of God and meditate in it daily. The Word of God is very vital and essential for your physical and spiritual growths in the Lord. When you give room for the Rhema of God, your life will be totally transformed and renewed. That is why the Bible says in 1 Peter 2:2, “As newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby.” Therefore, the sincere and pure milk of the Word of God is more than enough for both physical and spiritual growths in life forever.
Anyone who wants to move forward in the Lord should learn to forget the past. You should never think of your past glory, but looking ahead of your greater glory in Christ Jesus. That is the reason why Apostle Paul said in Philippians 3:13 thus, “Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead.” In fact, for a Christian to experience moving forward in the Lord, he sincerely needs to leave the past behind him by pressing forward for the upward goal in life forever.
Daily Tip: Every Christian should desire to move forward in the Lord by constant meditation on God’s Word and pressing forward for the upward goal in life forever. Shalom!
Golden Text: Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me (Philippians 3:12).
