SEARCHING THE HEART WITH GOD’S WORD!
The spirit of the man is the lamp of the Lord, searching all the inner depths of his heart (Proverbs 20:27).
The best searched light to man’s heart is God’s Word. God’s Word searches every nook and cranny of man’s heart and brings it under God’s will and subjection. If you really want to know the will and mind of God for your life, then read God’s Word. God’s Word is like a pathfinder that shows the way to your destiny in life. As you study God’s Word, your spirit becomes God’s lamp searching the inner depths of your heart. Of course, every Christian should endeavor to take note of the fact that God indeed wants him to always search his heart with His Word in life forever.
The Word of God also helps to check and balance your life. If for example, there are hidden and spiritual sins in your life; God’s Word can reveal, diagnose and treat them. That is why the Bible says in Psalm 119:11, “Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You.” Therefore, whenever a Christian uses the Word of God as his searched light, he lives his life devoid of sins and self. The Word of God in your heart is a searched light that helps to check and balance your life’s style according to God’s will in your life forever.
Therefore, God’s Word checks your thoughts and motives in life. It ensures that your will and destiny in life is in line with God’s purpose for your life. That is the reason why the Bible says in Hebrews 4:12, “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” In fact, the Word of God is indeed living, powerful, sharper, piercing, dividing and an eternal designer searched light into the thoughts and intents of the heart of man in life forever.
Daily Tip: A Christian should use God’s Word as searched light to his heart daily in life forever. Shalom!
