TESTIMONY IS YOUR GREAT WEAPON IN LIFE!
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death (Revelation 12:11).
Testimony is the Christian’s great weapon in life. God expects you to use the weapon of your testimony in overcoming the devil and challenges of life. There is great power in testifying. In the opening text, the Bible tells us that they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. Whenever a Christian learns to testify about the goodness of God in Christ Jesus, the devil is forced to bow his knees to the Lordship of Jesus Christ in the land of the living. Every Christian should learn how to use the great weapon of testimony in his life always.
God expects you as a Christian to use the weapon of your testimony. When others are crying and murmuring that things are bad, you should declare the goodness of God in the land of the living. That is why the Bible says in Psalm 35:28, “And my tongue shall speak of Your righteousness and of Your praise all the day long.” When you learn to testify of God’s goodness in your life, the devil trembles and bows. Of course, there are indeed both physical and spiritual powers in testifying about the goodness of God in Christ Jesus forever.
As a Christian, your testimony should be based on God’s Word. The Word of God makes your testimony to be efficacious and powerful. That is the reason why the Bible says in Hebrews 4:12, “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” Every Christian should therefore take note of the fact that the weapon of testimony is indeed the weapon of our salvation through the Word of God forever.
Daily Tip: Every Christian is expected to learn how to use his testimony as a great weapon in life forever. Shalom!
Golden Text: The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? (Psalm 27:1).
