DAY 4 THURSDAY: APRIL 2019

THANK GOD NO MATTER THE CHALLENGES!

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).

God wants you to thank Him no matter the challenges and circumstances of life surrounding you. He wants to see your faithfulness even when you are in difficult situations in life. God is ever faithful and He does not fail. In the opening text, the Bible says that we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. Every Christian should take note of the fact that all things work together for his good no matter the situations and challenges in life. You should learn to be grateful to God always.

Job is a case study of someone who remained faithful to God in spite of challenges and circumstances he experienced in life. Even when the wife advised him to curse God and die, he did not but rather he gave thanks to God. He made a powerful confession thus, “Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him. Even so, I will defend my own ways before Him” (Job 13:15). God still expects every Christian to trust Him even in the midst of confusion and frustration in life. A Christian should always learn to give thanks to God no matter the circumstances.

The challenges and circumstances you may be encountering in life right now, could be your stepping stone to your divine promotion and exultation in life. What you are expected to do as a Christian is not to complain but to give thanks to God. That is the reason why the Bible says in Psalm 34:19, “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.” God is more than able to deliver all who put their trust in Him no matter the challenges and obstacles in life. Take note of the fact that God is always with you forever.

Daily Tip: A Christian should learn to always give thanks to God no matter the challenges and situations in life because He is with him forever. Shalom!

Golden Text: What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? (Romans 8:31).
