THERE IS POWER IN MEDITATION!
This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success (Joshua 1:8).
There is power in meditation especially when you meditate on God and His Word. The Word of God is power for your existence. In the opening text, the Bible says that this Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. The power for good success and prosperity in life lies in one’s ability to constantly meditate on God and His Word.
Every Christian is expected to meditate constantly on the Word of God. The higher you meditate on God’s Word, the greater the Rhema of God in your spirit. It is the Rhema of God that empowers your spirit man to grow in faith. That is why the Bible says in Psalm 63:6, “When I remember You on my bed, I meditate on You in the night watches.” Whenever you meditate on God’s Word, you are meditating upon Him. The ability to constantly meditate upon God and His Word paves way for both physical and spiritual prosperities in life.
The meditation on God’s Word empowers you to grow physically and spiritually. When a Christian fails to meditate constantly on God’s Word, directly or indirectly you are hindering your growth both physically and spiritually. That is the reason why Apostle Paul told Timothy his beloved son in 1 Timothy 4:15, “Meditate on these things; give yourself entirely to them, that your progress may be evident to all.” Constant meditation on God and His Word brings all round progress in life. Therefore, every Christian should learn to meditate on God and His Word always!
Daily Tip: Every Christian should learn to constantly meditate on God and His Word in order to empower his spirit man to grow physically and spiritually. Shalom!
Golden Text: Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy- meditate on these things (Philippians 4:8).
