Looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works (Titus 2:13-14).

Every Christian had been redeemed by Jesus Christ, made special and zealous for good works. Jesus Christ died for us in order to purify us from every lawless deed. Through Jesus Christ’s redemption, we were made special and unique for zealous good works. Therefore, you are expected to be faithful and zealous in doing His works because that is one of the ways you can show appreciation for God’s redemption. Every Christian had been called and sanctified, made special and zealous for good works.

One of the reasons why God sent Jesus Christ to redeem and save us was because He wanted us to be special, unique and zealous for His good works. That is why the Bible tells us in Ephesians 2:10, “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” God created you to be His workmanship; prepared you special and zealous for good works because of His image and glory in your life. Therefore, a Christian is peculiar and special unto God.

In fact, you were created, fashioned and specially made for good works. Of course, greater is He that is in you than the one in the world (1 John 4:4). That is the reason why the Bible says in Psalm 139:14, “I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well.” God did not redeem you for a life of defeat and shame but for His good works. Indeed, a Christian is specially made and packaged for good works and victory in life.

Daily Tip: God has called and redeemed you for His good works; therefore, be faithful and loyal to His Name. Shalom!

Golden Text: But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9).
