Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen (Matthew 28:19-20).

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8). In the opening text, Jesus Christ gave His disciples the great commission to teach and preach the gospel message of salvation to all nations of the earth. He also promised to be with them always. When God promises to be with you; He is with you always and no one nor power can be against you (Romans 8:31). A Christian should know that God is with him always because He is ever faithful to His Word forever.

When Moses met with God in the Burning Bush, God sent him an errand to Pharaoh who was the king of Egypt. Although, Moses was afraid of the unknown, but God assured him that He would always be with him because He is the “I AM WHO I AM” (Exodus 3:14). God is always present with His children especially those who are faithful to Him. God cannot give you an assignment and abandon you on the way. Therefore, every Christian is expected to be conscious of God’s presence in his life and ministry always.

When Jesus said that I am with you always; it was in the present tense. This means that no matter the circumstances and situations of life; I am always with you. That is the reason why the Bible says in Isaiah 43:2, “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you.” A Christian should take note of the fact that God is always with him forever.

Daily Tip: Jesus Christ promised to always be with you as long as you remain faithful and obedient to Him as your Master. Shalom!

Golden Text: Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5).
