DAY 4 SUNDAY: NOVEMBER 2018

DIALOGUE IS THE BEST OPTION!

I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions for My own sake; and I will not remember your sins. Put Me in remembrance; let us contend together; state your case, that you may be acquitted (Isaiah 43:25-26).

Dialogue had been the best option for resolving disputes and misunderstandings in life. In the opening text, God Himself advocated for dialogue when He said, “Put Me in remembrance; let us contend together; state your case, that you may be acquitted” (Isaiah 43:26). Violence has never been known to solve and resolve issues and disputes. Therefore as Christians, let us embrace dialogue which is the best option.   Dialogue is the best option for resolving disputes and misunderstandings in life.

As Christians, God expects us to reason and do things intelligently through the process of dialogue. No wonder Jesus Christ said in the Sermon on the Mount, “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God” (Matthew 5:9). Every Christian should avoid being violent and be peacemaker. The best way to make peace is to embrace dialogue whenever there are misunderstandings. Even God Himself who is our Maker adopted dialogue in resolving disputes and misunderstandings with us (Isaiah 1:18).

As a Christian, never you allow yourself to become a tool in the hand of Satan. Satan is known for violence; that is why Jesus Christ said in John 10:10, “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy…” God hates violence of any kind and guise because He is Jehovah Shalom. In fact, violent is destructive while dialogue is constructive. If you want to achieve the best, then, embrace dialogue. Dialogue is indeed the best option in resolving disputes and misunderstandings in life.

Daily Tip: Violent is destructive while dialogue is constructive. Therefore, every Christian should always embrace dialogue in order to achieve the best result in life. Shalom!

Golden Text: Come now, and let us reason together, says the Lord, “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool (Isaiah 1:18).
