Therefore, David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and a stone, and struck the philistine and killed him. But there was no sword in the hand of David. Therefore David ran and stood over the Philistine, took his sword and drew it out of its sheath and killed him, and cut off his head with it. And when the Philistines saw that their champion was dead, they fled (1 Samuel 17:50-51).

Making impact in life is not a child’s play or something that happens by chance. One has to be decisive and determined in order to make an impact. As a Christian, it is time to arise from your slumber and be determined to make impact in your time. This was exactly what David did in his time. He decided to take the bull by the horn when others were retreating and hiding for safety. David made an impact in his time. It is time to arise with God by putting the devil to shame.

Moses is another case study of a man who decided to arise in his time. The children of Israel were under cruel oppression in the hand of Pharaoh and his taskmasters for many years in the land of Egypt. But because he made himself available and decided to take the bull by the horn; God used him as a deliverer, hence, he delivered the children of Israel from the land of bondage and slavery. Whoever fails to arise has directly or directly put himself and his generation into bondage forever.

As Christians, it is time we arise to make impact in our homes, society, nation, and in the world. We should not fold our hands and expect miracle to happen. God expects us to arise, take the bull by the horn and effect changes that will bring about revolution and sanity in our society. The power to effect a change is in your hand and you are expected to use it for the sake of posterity. Be bold and confident in the Lord. Arise to make a difference in your time and generation.

Daily Tip: It is high time, we Christians arise to take the bull by the horn and effect a change in our nation. Shalom!
