But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us (2 Corinthians 4:7).

A Christian is a blessing to his generation. God called you for a purpose, and that purpose is to bring Him glory. Therefore, the glory of God is in you. That is the reason why the Bible tells us in 2 Peter 1:3, “As His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue.” Every Christian is a tabernacle of the glory of God. The world sees the glory of God through your character and behavior. Your life is a carrier of the glory of God because you are the tabernacle of His glory.

Furthermore, the good treasure of life dwells richly in your spirit. No wonder Jesus Christ says in Luke 6:45, “A good man out of his good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.” The Holy Spirit dwells in you to perfect the will of God in your life so that the glory of God will be fully manifested through your character for the world to see and bring glory to God (Matthew 5:16). Every Christian is supposed to mirror the glory of God in his life and conduct daily.

But for the glory of God to shine forth and burst into greater manifestation, a Christian needs to constantly look into the mirror of God’s Word and live a life worthy of His Name. Your life as a Christian is full of God’s abundant riches, glory, joy, honor and excellent virtues in Christ Jesus. That is why the Bible says, “Greater is He that is in you than the one in the world” (1 John 4:4). The greater glory and excellent virtues of God is in you in Christ Jesus.

Daily Tip: The glory of God is in the life of every Christian. Therefore, he should recognize the fact that he is very unique and special to God and to the world through Christ Jesus. Shalom!
