So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God” (Mark 11:22).

The life of faith is a life full of evidence, power and victory. Jesus Christ’s life was a testimony of what faith in God is. In the opening text, Jesus Christ told His disciples to have faith in God. The Bible describes faith in Hebrews 11:1, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Whoever must have faith in God should believe and trust God and His Word of life by knowing fully well that He is faithful and dependable.

Jesus Christ taught His disciples faith in God by His actions and ways of life. The disciples saw His demonstration of faith in God through His teachings, healings, deliverance, authority and commands. No wonder Jesus Christ says in Matthew 21:21 thus, “Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ it will be done.” When you have faith in God nothing becomes impossible in your life and ministry.

A Christian needs faith to be able to walk with God by overcoming life challenges and obstacles. That is why the Bible says in Hebrews 11:6, “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” The only way to please God is to walk with Him by faith; trusting His Word and declaring it whole-heartedly by knowing fully well that God is too faithful to fail.

Daily Tip: Every Christian should whole-heartedly exercise his faith in God without reservation. Shalom!
