 The parable of The Growing Seed is a Kingdom Parable.

 The parable demonstrates the mystery of God’s Kingdom.

 The farmer in this context represents the preacher of the
gospel of Jesus Christ.

 The seed in this context represents God’s Word of salvation.

 The duty of the preacher is to preach the gospel message of
Jesus Christ and leaves the mystery of the transforming power
to the Holy Spirit.

 The earth in this context represents the grace of God that
produces spiritual growth in a man’s heart.

 The harvest in this context represents the end-time reward
for soul-winning.

 It is the duty of every Christian to always evangelize for
Christ and win souls into God’s kingdom; therefore,
soul-winning is a very serious business and not negotiable.
