JESUS CHRIST: THE BEGOTTEN OF THE FATHER!
I will declare the decree: the Lord had said to Me, ‘You are My Son, today I have begotten You’ (Psalm 2:7).
The word, “Begotten” is a theological terminology which is simply referred to as legitimately adopted child with full rights and privileges in life. The Bible says in the opening text that I will declare the decree: the Lord had said to Me, ‘You are My Son, today I have begotten You.’ When the Bible says that Jesus Christ is the begotten of the Father, it simply means that Jesus Christ is the first to be legitimately adopted Son by the Father; hence, the First fruits of Resurrection in life. Of course, every Christian should endeavor to take note of the fact that Jesus Christ was the first begotten Son of the Father in life forever.
When Jesus Christ was baptized at the River Jordan by John the Baptist, as soon as He came out of the water, the Bible recorded that heaven was opened and behold God the Father declared thus, “…this is My begotten Son, in whom I am well pleased” (Matthew 3:17). This was an opened declaration from heaven by God the Father that Jesus Christ is the legitimately adopted Son of God with full rights and privileges in life. Therefore, Jesus Christ was the first fruits of the begotten Son of the Father whom God is well pleased with in life forever.
Furthermore in the transfiguration of Jesus Christ, the Bible also recorded that God the Father again declared Jesus Christ to be His begotten Son thus, “While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them; and suddenly a voice came out of the cloud, saying, ‘This is My begotten Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him” (Matthew 17:5). In fact, heaven endorsed and publicly declared that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God in life. Also, Jesus Christ as the legitimately adopted Son of God the Father is the only One qualified for us to hear, listen and take instructions from in life forever.
Daily Tip: Jesus Christ as the begotten Son of God the Father is the only One qualified for us to hear, listen and take instructions from in life forever. Shalom!
Golden Text: But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ’s at His coming (1 Corinthians 15:23).
